It stands to scriptural reasoning that the devil is in charge of this world - this planet earth. Which tells us that our rulers, politicians, royal families etc., are all from the lineage of Satan's Seed. I exaggerate not! Think of our LORD Jesus' 40 days in the desert, where the devil offered Him the world in exchange for Jesus bowing to Satan's ownership. We seem to have forgotten what evil power is behind all the hideousness we are experiencing. I have chosen to link a Wikipedia article on the Temptation of Christ as it links the testimony of Matthew, Mark and Luke. Our LORD Jesus had to face the temptation of the devil before He commenced His ministry.
Remember that our planet earth reflects what is happening in heaven. We are deeply, deeply connected. As the devil's favourite Baphomet statue always depicts...."As above, so below". There is huge turmoil in heaven right now. As young Natan testified - everything we do, regarding prayer and obedience to Almighty God, causes great joy in heaven. Every tiny, little thing. That realisation is jaw-dropping. Our prayers are POWERFUL.
