I think that Mark 2:20-22 gives two clues.
1) But the time will come when the
bridegroom will be taken from them
To me, this verse suggests that the Messiah would marry the
Gentile Bride instead of them.
In most Jewish communities, the Book of Ruth is read on
Shavout during the Shacharit service.
But they don't know yet the spiritual meaning of it.
Because of their rejection, the Messiah would marry the
Gentile Bride so that the God's Restoration Work could be
succeeded.
This theme of Shavout is matched with the theme of Tu B'Av
which prophetically pictures the Marriage of the Lamb.
And this site says that Tu B'Av marks the time of God's
betrothal as quoting Eph. 1:4 and Song of Solomon 6:3.
"Ani L'dodi
V'dodi Li" is related to Elul as well and the king is in
the field during the month of Elul.
So we can see that Shavout, Tu B'Av and Elul are all
connected to the Marriage of the Lamb.
And throughout the ministry, I learned the lesson that God
works at the last moment.
2) And no one pours new wine into old wineskins
It's my belief that God begins New Work from Rosh Hashana of
5783 and the Church Age should end before it.
This is why I wrote before that the last shofar blowing on
Elul 28 could be the Last Trumpet of 1 Corinthians
15:51.
Thus Elul 28(9/24) could be the Day as Friedrich Merz, the
German CDU leader indicated.
And this message could be a confirmation.
But there is a possibility that something big could occur as
the midnight cry 3 days before.
Hopefully this theory becomes a reality this time.
Maranatha!
