Just fyi.

 

Every time I see one of these sunspots come around the sun and point straight at Earth, I think about the sun being given power to scorch men.  A solar flare hitting Earth could damage our electrical infrastructure and communication systems.  This sunspot could produce one of the powerful X-class solar flares.

 

"According to NASA, X-class flares hitting Earth may result in damage to satellites, global transmission problems, worldwide radio blackouts, and potentially give airline passengers near the North and South poles small radiation doses."  In 1859 "the largest and most powerful X-class flare" hit the Earth - it caused an aurorae to be seen around the world, and caused fires in some telegraph stations.  Another flare of this size, with today's technology, could take out the electric grid.  The next solar maxim is to occur in 2025.
