The
aftermath of the
Haiti earthquake has faded from the news sites, while
the next disaster takes the headlines. In this case, it is
Hurricane Ida which made landfall today in Louisiana
- 16 years to the day of when
Katrina hit the state. Ida is much larger and
more destructive than
Katrina. I have news links and information in this
update.
We
are still watching for the possibility of more very large
quakes striking on a delayed basis.
