THE GREAT TRIBULATION  IS GOD'S JUDGMENT UPON THE WHOLE WORLD, AND IT BEGINS IN  ISRAEL JUST BEFORE THE RESURRECTION / RAPTURE........

Daniel's prophetic vision of Israel's future, as recorded in Daniel 12:1-2, gives us believers a clue to the chronological order of  end-time events including the resurrection  / rapture event of the Body of Christ Church : 

The soon to come "time of trouble " ( Daniel 12:1  ) is God's Great Tribulation judgment which comes upon Israel FIRST and is manifested as the Gog-Magog War against Israel.  THEN COMES the resurrection / rapture of the Body of Christ Church,  "thy people shall be delivered" ( Daniel 12:2 ).  AFTER the resurrection / rapture of His Church,  God's Great Tribulation  judgment THEN COMES UPON THE WHOLE WORLD  according to the following Scriptures which give us the chronological order of the sequence of prophetic end-time  events :

#1 Daniel 12:1 ( Daniel's vision of the future Great Tribulation upon Israel )

"and there shall be a time of trouble ( the Great Tribulation )  such as never was since there was a nation ( nation of Israel )...

#2  Daniel 12:1-2 ( Daniel's vision of the future resurrection / rapture of believers )

"and at that time ( the time of God's Great Tribulation upon  Israel ) thy people shall be delivered ( thy people who are believers shall be resurrected / raptured ) EVERYONE THAT SHALL BE FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK ( OF LIFE ) . And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake ( the dead in Christ shall resurrect first along with those who are alive, and remain , shall be  caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air )."

The Apostle Paul confirms the chronological  sequence of end-time events given  in Daniel's vision that the Jews suffer tribulation  FIRST, and then the Gentile world accordin g to :

#3  Romans 2:9

"TRIBULATION upon every soul of man that does evil , THE JEW FIRST, and also of THE GENTILES."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

God's Great Tribulation judgment  will begin upon Israel FIRST manifested as the Gog-Magog War against Israel. It will be our visual sign to the watching Body of Christ Church that our resurrection  / rapture / redemption  "DRAWS NEAR" according to : 

Luke 21:28

"When these things BEGIN TO HAPPEN look up and lift up you heads because your redemption DRAWS NEAR."
