John and Doves
In this sermon on the Death of a Loved One
Derek Prince shares his experience of losing his first wife of 30 years todeath.
It was the hardest sorrow he had ever felt. And speaking from my own experience, losing my Jim of 39 years was the greatest sorrow I had ever felt, and remains a tenderness still today.
Yet Derek Prince, wise in council, tells us that we must keep moving onward and upward, and to continue doing the work God gave us to do.
What kept me going in my own personal experience is the fact that I believe strongly in the Resurrection, and I knew for certain that I would see Jim again.
And between that time, Jim was living in joy- unspeakable.
We Christians are such a very unique set of people having the Blessed Hope of a blissful eternal life, that our Godly attitude here on earth cannot be shaken, no matter the circumstances.
God sends to us friends in time of need for our healing.May God be praised!-----------------------
Derek Prince:The Resurrected Body.
In this sermon, Pastor Derek explains, line by line, the meaning of1 Corinthians 15:35-58.He gives a description of our new Resurrected Bodies.
Pastor Derek says that our new bodies will be imperishable and incorruptible. They will be immortal and everlasting.
Our new supernatural bodies will be glorified, like Jesus' Glorified Body: defying gravity, passing through walls and matter.
Appearing at will, disappearing at will.In other words, our Glorified bodies will be greatly enhanced.
Philippians 3:20, 21"For our conversation is in Heaven, whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
"Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body."
1 John 3:2"Beloved, *NOW* are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be.
"But we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."1 John 3:2
Amen.
