John and Doves,
Many of you know of Mike-from-around-the- world who is online with Paul Begley every Thursday night .
Their discussions are quite revealing about what is going on in the world. Not to be briefed by them weekly is to bury one's head in the sand.
Well Mike has his own program called"Daily Excellence" which, as it says, is daily.
This is a much more personal program, heart-to-heart....one on one. Here Mike shares his deeper thoughts and perspectives.
This one,"Merciful Reminders"....
is particularly relevant. The first half of the message deals with America's response to Afghanastan and how ourSpiritual attitude determines God's judgment upon our nation.
Are we proud and arrogant?Or are we merciful and compassionate to our fellow man.?
Mike reminds us of Matthew 25:31-46...the works of mercy, wherein *true* Christians feed, give water, clothe, visit those enclosed, those that are sick, reach out to others with hospitality...in other words act like Jesus in this today-world.Now is that time.
"For the time is come that judgment *must* begin at the house of God.
"And if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the Gospel of God ?
"And if***the righteous SCARCELY be saved***, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear ?"1 Peter 1:17,18
Mike reminds us to be stone-cold sober in facing the realities of living in a dark harsh world, where we are to be strong and shine our lights brightly. His message is for those who are willing to be willing to be totally sold out for Christ.
In the latter part of his message, Mike presents astonishing facts in naturethat are going on right now.
Also, Mike brings up interesting info in technology, in particularly about the i-phone.Mike is an extremely knowledgeable person, and his wisdom is to be regarded.
His website is calledDailyExcellence.org
Pastor Anthony Daria carries Mike's messages as
The only link I could get to work was"Merciful Reminders".
The news is forecasting an internet shutdown for months, due to solar storms.
ACTS 20:24"But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear unto myself.
"so that I might finish my course with joy ,and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus,
to testify the Gospel ofthe Grace of God."
May we be prepared by memorizing the Word, and by watching unto prayer until that time.
In Jesus,Angela
