Folks,
I’m not talking about the board “here” as Tng always does
a fine job of reigning it in the (very) few times over the
years I’ve seen debates turn into heated arguments.
But
good gravy, I glimpsed over at www.NowTheEndBegins.com
earlier today (Sunday, August 29th) and
phew nellie!!....... Arguments abounding left &
right….. out & out fist fights even!! (if they
were just meeting in person). I glanced over
to catch a few comments from a couple of my favs there
& then quickly left…… unless or until Geoffrey
who runs it sees to getting a FAIR & BALANCED
moderator (can’t be someone who’s always getting INTO the
fights!!) then I want to think I’m done there – not
to say I may not “peek” now & then esp. to catch the
end time headlines.
But
this stuff is not only out of hand, it’s out & out
ridiculous!! Kept thinking to myself: “I
could be doing far better things than this!!
Like READING THE BIBLE for instance!!” But
alas, you guys know how “addictive” it can be to read mb’s
esp. Bible prophecy ones.
On
this particular “fight” (whatever the subject was, I was
behind w/my reading so it was from 4 days ago…
something about Biden & the troops…..) anyway,
like I say the comments turned into nothing short of what
you’d see in a STREET FIGHT!! I get it that
even Christians can get offended easily!!
Understand. Still though….?? And one
person outright called someone else, “YOU STUPID IDIOT!”
Uh…..
look, I’m not trying to come off holier than thou as I
know we’re all imperfect & all have our
moments!! But if it were me with the blood pressure
rocketing & if I wrote that, I’d hope the Holy Spirit
would convict me within 10 minutes to go back, EDIT &
delete that completely.

Frankly, as of today, I’m quite embarrassed for even
suggesting that site. /insert sad, disgusted
emoticon…..

hope Geoffrey will decide to find someone or a few
someones to help moderate his site. Someone who has
peace within & exudes peace on the outside as
well. (perhaps poster: Psalms 37?...
CHAR? Nancy Drew?..... ) Someone who’s
not overly opinionated yet is Biblically grounded.
Cause
otherwise, I personally will not share this site again…..
man oh man, what it’s showing to the
world!!!! Can just imagine suggesting to
my RC relatives to go read there – and though they’re RC,
they are peaceable types, and then they go & read
such….!!! They wouldn’t want anything to do
with “Christianity”!! Not in this sense….
I’ve
also wondered ~why~ on a PRE-TRIB mb, does he allow so
many post-trib comments? There’s one guy there (we
can of course pray for) who acts like he’s going off
for FUN at SUMMER CAMP (when talking about concentration
camps he believes are his destiny). While I get it
that he & the other postie believers are entitled to
their opinions, does this sort of friction cause confusion
among lurkers & readers? /wondering…
