In view of recent events concerning Israel and the Abraham Accords - many mysteries have been uncovered. I will try to keep this short.

Assuming that the woman who rides the beast is Israel (and scripture strongly indicates that this is so. See Ezekiel 16) then said woman's city (Jerusalem) sits on the land mass that makes up the end time beast. The 7 heads of the beast refer to 7 mountains (NOT "hills"). These mountains are nations. The first beast rises from the Great Sea ( the 3rd world war is brewing there as we speak) - the Eastern Mediterranean. The 2nd beast (False prophet) rises from the land.

Keeping the focus on the end time beast in Revelation 13. In verse 5 we are told the following "The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise it's authority for 42 months". Link below. In this 42 months of allotted time, the following things occur:-

In Revelation 13:8, we are told, "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast - all whose names have not been written in the Lamb's Book of Life. The Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world."

In Revelation 13: 15 - 17 we are told that the 2nd beast kills all the people who refuse to worship the image of the beast. Which means that this 2nd beast CANNOT force people to worship the image of the first beast. He can cause or bring about the circumstances by which people will be afraid not to worship the image. But - the people still have a choice. This 2nd beast causes (brings about the circumstances) whereby a mark will have to be taken in order to buy and sell. The word "force" used in Revelation 16 by some translations, is the Greek word "poiei". See 3rd link below. It means to cause, or bring about the circumstances. It does not denote physical force.

Considering where this land mass of the beast is - "where the woman sits" - is majority Muslim, let's look at how they operate. Their very lives are governed by a medieval type savagery. Even in this modern day. Be-headings are the norm. As are beatings and public whippings. Chopping off the hands of petty thieves is common practise. This is the mind-set we are dealing with. Which brings us to the "mark of the beast" Quoting from the 2nd linked article below, the Greek word for "mark" is 'charagma' and is related to the brand seared into animals to denote their ownership. I would also suggest that this "mark" could be the wearing of wrist bands or headbands - much like jihadists wear today - denoting their worship of their god, Allah. Both scenarios are possible. Remember the mind-set of the people we are talking about!

Considering just how this world is going to be hammered by asteroids, fire and brimstone at the beginning of the great tribulation, I would imagine that this mark of the beast is going to be less technology oriented but, rather primitive and savage. Much like the mind-set of that part of the world. Will satellites still be functioning? I imagine not. Will shiny produce-filled supermarkets still be operating? Gaudy shopping malls? Think about it!

In conclusion - let's end with the mark of the beast and just what it means. Romans 10 says it all. 4th link below. If we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is LORD - we shall be saved. A loose quote, I know, but Romans 10 really does say it all.

Accepting the mark of the beast is a soul decision. It denotes a soul choice. Nothing to do with DNA. It is about soul and spirit.

Anyone who accepts the mark of the beast is not a believer. A true follower of Christ would rather starve than accept a mark that designates them as a worshipper of satan. When Peter denied Jesus three times, he had not yet received the Holy Spirit. ALL who come to Christ will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is preposterous to believe that the gift Holy Spirit is not given to new believers in the great tribulation.

Which opens up a whole new can of worms as to just who "the restrainer" is. Lol. I will leave that question for another time. Lots's more studying to do.
