New wine is not fermented: doesn't make you drunk
Old wine is fermented.

They' say the Old wine is better. The they' prefer to be drunk.
Fermentation causes the skins to expand, and makes them weaker, and when one puts the new wine in old wine skins, the new wine after a time, also expands and causes the skins to burst.
Drunkards prefer the old wine, therefore the old wine is better.
