Those are some very interesting thoughts.

I've often wondered about how:

Revelation 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

  13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Considering where Pergamos is located, Jesus said it is where Satan's seat is, where Satan dwelleth, taken together with:

Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

That when the devil gives his seat to the beast, is it not in the same place that Jesus said it is?

If so, that gives, at least to me, a lot more clarity on considering what you were saying.
