"RE: James: 09.15.19: stop stepping on my second amendment"

James,
From a political point of view, it is a "no-brainer", it would be suicide to give up the 2nd amendment.
Yet, I have often wondered that if the early Christians had a 2nd amendment, would they then not have been fed to the lions?
Why did they believe so differently than we do?
Did not both they, then, and us now, trust in the same shed blood of Jesus, whom both, they and us, believe that he rose from the dead?
Most Christians that I've ever known, here in the US, believe strongly in the 2nd amendment.
However, Christians that I've briefly encountered, while in other countries, like India, Russia, and China, seem to have a different mind set.
I'm not asking you to prove one side or the other, or to find fault in one side or the other.
I was simply wondering how it could be that different, yet so real to those who believe one way or the other?
