Salvation Is A Four Step Program

Justified

We are justified by the blood Jesus shed on the cross as full payment for the sins of all men. Acts 13:39, Romans 3:24, Romans 5:9

Sanctified

We are sanctified when we accept our justification with the promise of future salvation by the seal of the Holy Spirit. Acts 20:32, Acts 26:18

The moment we believe and confess with our mouth Romans 10:9-10, our spirit and our soul are born again. We have now been sanctified, (set apart) from the non-believers.

Our spirit and our soul have been born again, but our flesh and blood body has not yet been born again. Our flesh and blood body will be born again on the day of salvation which is the day of the rapture.

 

Perfected/Glorified

Jesus was perfected on the day He was resurrected. Luke 13:32, Hebrews 5:9

One day in the future, Jesus will change our flesh and blood bodies from mortal to immortal. This event will occur when the dead in Christ are resurrected and the alive in Christ are changed in the twinkling of an eye. At that moment, our body will be perfected/glorified and ready for the salvation event. Hebrews 10:14

 

Salvation/Rapture

The day of salvation, also known as the day of rapture. Romans 13:11, 2 Corinthians 6:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, 1 Peter 1:5, 1 Peter 1:9, Revelation 12:10

The day of salvation/rapture will occur when our bodies have been perfected/glorified by Jesus and taken to heaven with Him.
