"Revelation 12 sign: manchild, child, dragon & astronomy observation"

Hi doves,

Concerning the Revelation 12 sign in September 23th 2017, which has already been widely covered and commented in various websites, I’d like to share something that I noticed while navigating on Stellarium website.

It’ clear that the woman in Revelation 12 is Israel, which is depicted by constellation Virgo, and that the manchild (“arsen huois” in Greek) is Jesus (depicted by planet Jupiter), which was inside the body of the constellation Virgo for 9 months, and then when the constellation was clothed with the sun and the moon was under her feet on Sept. 23 2017, Jupiter begins to leave the constellation Virgo and move towards its orbit (in other words, was "born").

Please bear in mind that I’m NOT talking about ASTROLOGY, I’m talking about signs in nature that can be observed in the context of ASTRONOMY. God created the Heavens and the movements of the planets. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” (Psalms 19:1)

The question that came to my mind is that: what would depict the Dragon in Revelation 12? Reading the passage with careful eyes, and researching the meaning of the words on websites and YouTube channels (I reccomend Brenda Weltner YouTube channel, with lots of interesting insights), I found out that the translation "man-child" in Rev 12:5 is from the Greek "arsen huios" while the other word "child" in the same verse has been translated from "teknon." Therefore there are two different Greek words that have both been translated as "child": manchild (arsen huois) and child (teknon).  They could refer to different concepts, as Brenda Weltner explains in her vídeos. The manchild is the Lord and the ‘child’ is the body of Christ (the bride).

After much considering that idea, it came to my mind that the other part of the passage (the phenomenon with the other child, having to do with a dragon) could also be depicted in the heavens, and that the astronomical fulfillment didn’t end in September 2017.

If Jupiter depicts the manchild ("arsen huiois"), it seems to me that "teknon" could mean another child, i.e., another PLANET. I believe that this other child is the bride of Christ, which could be depicted in the heavens by VENUS, many months or years after the initial sign of the "birth" of Jupiter in September 2017.

Then I was very curious to find out what could depict the "Dragon". I came to the conclusion (which might be mistaken, it’s just a conjecture) that after passing through constellation Virgo, the planets travel towards constellation Libra and then towards constellation SCORPIO. It's interesting to note that the name Scorpio for this set of stars (constellation Scorpio) is not universal. In some cultures (China, for example), constellation Scorpio is also connected to the concept of a DRAGON.  This could be an explanation!

The Scorpio constellation has intrigued people for centuries, not only for its distinctive shape, but also because it is one of the brightest constellations in the sky. The name is Latin for scorpion, or literally translated as the "creature with the burning sting." However, Scorpio is not a scorpion to everyone. The Javanese people of Indonesia call this constellation Banyakangrem, meaning "the brooded swan" or Kalapa Doyong, meaning "leaning coconut tree." In Hawaii, it is known as the demigod Maui's Fishhook. In Chinese mythology, the constellation was part of the Azure Dragon.

The story behind the name: Scorpio is one of the 12 constellations included in the Zodiac. Considered to be among the oldest constellations recognized by human civilizations, these 12 patterns were of particular significance to ancient cultures like the Babylonians because, as the Babylonian astronomers noticed, they mark the path through which our Sun, moon and planets appear to travel through the course of a year. The stars of Scorpio trace out the spine of the Scorpion (or of a dragon, according to Chinese legend), making it perhaps the most faithfully rendered constellation in the sky.

Therefore I believe that the next “child” (planet) we should be watching, after the initial rare sign of Revelation 12:2 concerning Jupiter might be the movement of planet Venus from the body of Virgo and then towards Scorpio. Symbolically, a 'dragon' would be trying to devour it (the 'teknon' child, which I’m suggesting could be Venus) but it will continue to move on in its orbit, and will even have a future conjuction with planet Jupiter.  Please check in Stellarium web. Amazing!!!

In many future years, around the month of October or November, this phenomenon happens. I don't know if this explanation is right, but it's a possibility that came to my mind a few days ago.

Of course the transit of Venus inside Virgo and then moving on to Scorpio IS NOT AS RARE as the Revelation 12 sign concerning Jupiter in September 2017. But It COULD be an indication of the timing of the flight of the other ‘child’ to God. I wouldn’d be surprised if the Church is raptured exactly on a day that has this symbolism taking place in the heavens (Venus travelling towards Scorpio). This phenomenon takes place in many years and, as I said, is NOT rare. But it’s something that is worthy to be watched. Especially after the initial Revelation 12 sign concerning Jupiter, in September 2017.

If the 24 Elders in Revelation 4 depict the Church being assembled in front of the Throne room of God, this seems to be the place called “The Holy of Holies”. We must remember that, in scriptures, the High Priest could only enter the Holy of Holies on the day of “Yom Kippur” (the 10th of Tishri). It’s interesting to note that if the correspondence that I made above is right (Venus entering constellation Scorpio, meaning ‘Dragon’, months or years AFTER the initial Revelation 12 sign in September 2017), it could match the date of Yom Kippur in some years that this sign occurs in the heavens.

Of course we can search Google to find out the day that the planets enter the constellations. I came across a website that mentioned that Venus enters Scorpio on October 8th 2019. If anything prophetical should happen in 2019, it’s a huge coincidence that the second part of Revelation 12 sign happens on that date

When Venus will be in Scorpio according to  https://www.moontracks.com/venus_ingress.html

Venus                Sep 09, 2018 09:29    Scorpio   - I

Venus                Oct 05, 2018 19:04    Scorpio   - S/R

Venus                Dec 02, 2018 16:54    Scorpio   - I

Venus              Oct 08, 2019 17:06       Scorpio  - I  -    à eve of Yom Kippur according to Hebcal.com

Venus                Nov 21, 2020 13:21    Scorpio   - I

I understand that the entering of Venus in Scorpio (to mean something) must be preceded by the transit of Venus in constellation Virgo. So it would be a good ideal to check Stellarium.

I have no idea if this line of thought has any basis. I’m just sharing as an exercise, so we can ellaborate together in this forum. Much more in conceptual terms than in regard to dates.

Please note that I’m not saying that I believe that the final seven years before the Second Coming have already started or anything like that. I simply don’t know. What I’m saying is that the Revelation 12 sign could have a two phase fulfillment in terms of astronomy signs. The first part (concerning the manchild depicted by Jupiter) in Sept. 2017 (meaning that we are very close to the day the Bridegroom comes to catch us away) and the second part (concerning the child depicted by Venus) in the year of the rapture of the Church, which we don’t know which year it will be.

Please forgive any mistakes in my English.

Warmest regards and blessings from Brazil,
