The space weather website (http://spaceweather.com) has a list of encounters of the Earth with what they call “potentially hazardous asteroids”. In the list they have an Earth-asteroid encounter on the 9 October 2016 with an asteroid named Ra-Shalom (Ra- Egyptian sun-god who symbolizes enlightment & life and Shalom for peace) by its discoverer. The asteroid misses the Earth at 58.3 Moon-to-Earth distance. This asteroid was numbered 2100. According to the website below, the name of the asteroid was chosen to commemorate the Camp David Mid-East Peace conference, at which time the asteroid appeared in 1978.
