The Cross

The Resurrection

A 2,000 year gospel age

The 7 years of tribulation

Joseph meets the cupbearer and baker in prison.

The cupbearer is released from prison after 3 days.

Joseph is imprisoned for another two whole years.

Joseph begins to rule during the 7 years of harvest and 7 years of famine.

Jesus and two thieves are crucified.

The saints come out of the grave on the day of the resurrection, Mat 27:53.

The gospel of Jesus who became a prisoner of the cross for all sin is preached for 2,000 years.

A 7 year harvest of saints is followed by

7 years of tribulation.

Moses saw the promised land from afar on Mt Nebo and died in the wilderness of Moab. And no one knows the place of Moses grave unto this day, Deut 34:5-6.

The ark of the covenant is lifted up after 3 days and stops the Jordan river allowing Israel to enter  God's promised land.

Israel crosses the Jordan river 2,000 cubits downstream from the ark and enters the promised land on dry ground, Jos 3:1-4.

Israel entered the promised land opposite Jericho and marched around the city 7 days and its walls fell down, Jos 3:16, 6:15-20.

Jesus for the joy set before him (saw the promised land of heaven for the saints) and endured the cross and died outside the city gate, Heb 12:12, 13:12. And no one knows the place of Jesus grave to this day because he has risen and is alive.

Jesus resurrection after 3 days allows his saints to enter God's promised land of heaven.

A 2,000 year gospel age from Jesus resurrection will be fulfilled and Israel will be in their land.

After 7 years of tribulation all the enemies of Israel will be defeated and a remnant will be saved by faith in Jesus, Zec 13.

Nicodemus meets Jesus in the dark and does not understand how to be born-again, John 3:1-4.

Jesus reveals himself as the Messiah to the Samaritan woman  (half Jew, half Gentile) and he stays with the Samaritans for 2 days, John 4:40-43.

Jesus returns to Capernaum and in the 7th hour he heals an official's son who is at the point of death. John 4:46-53, Mat 24:21-22

Israel's self righteous leadership is in spiritual darkness and does not understand they must be born-again through faith in Jesus death and resurrection to be declared righteous before God.

The gospel goes to the Gentiles for 2,000 years. Gentiles saints are spiritual Samaritans, the wild olive branch grafted into the olive tree, Israel.

Israel will be at the point of death in the 7th year of tribulation when Jesus returns to save them from their enemies.

The time-line hidden in the above 3 scriptural examples reveals there will be a 2,000 year gospel age that began from the resurrection and will end shortly before the 7 years of tribulation.

And in Acts 28:17-31, From the Law of Moses and the Prophets, Paul tried to convince the Jews that Jesus died for their sins and has risen in victory over sin, death and the grave. However because some Jews disbelieved Paul said, “therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen."  And Paul lived there two whole years and welcomed all who came to him proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching them about the Lord Jesus Christ.

The story of Paul proclaiming the gospel of salvation to all who came to him for two whole years is another prophetic picture for the gospel of Jesus that will be shared with Gentiles for two thousand years. And the phrase “after thee days” when Paul called together the local leaders of the Jews to hear the gospel may be a subtle hint and another hidden picture for 3 days after the cross when Jesus on the day of his resurrection began to share the gospel first with his disciples and Israel, and then the Gentiles for a period of 2,000 years.

Acts 28:17-31  After three days he called together the local leaders of the Jews, and when they had gathered, he said to them, "Brothers, though I had done nothing against our people or the customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.  (18)  When they had examined me, they wished to set me at liberty, because there was no reason for the death penalty in my case.  (19)  But because the Jews objected, I was compelled to appeal to Caesar—though I had no charge to bring against my nation.  (20)  For this reason, therefore, I have asked to see you and speak with you, since it is because of the hope of Israel that I am wearing this chain."  (21)  And they said to him, "We have received no letters from Judea about you, and none of the brothers coming here has reported or spoken any evil about you.  (22)  But we desire to hear from you what your views are, for with regard to this sect we know that everywhere it is spoken against."  (23)  When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening he expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.  (24)  And some were convinced by what he said, but others disbelieved.  (25)  And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: "The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet:  (26)  "'Go to this people, and say, "You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive."  (27)  For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.'  (28)  Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen."  (30)  He lived there two whole years at his own expense, and welcomed all who came to him,  (31)  proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.
