"To John B. - Re: The Two Witnesses"

Dear John B.,

I thought you might want to read an article by Pastor Riley, where he explains why he thinks John the Revelator is one of the Two Witnesses. It was originally posted on Five Doves in 2008.  I very much enjoyed Reading it.

Regarding the number of deaths, all men die once (Hebrews 9:27), but God can make exceptions. A few chosen men in scriptures died more than once as exceptions to that rule, and many (those who are alive at the time of the rapture) will not even die, but will be changed and raptured without having faced death. So I see no problem in that, because God is sovereign in making exceptions by His power, when He has as specific purpose and context. What I believe that verse really says is that there is no such thing as reincarnation.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Two Witnesses.

Regards,

Eliane B.
