The Pharisees in Jesus's day did not recognize Him as The Messiah because they were looking for A King who would conquer all their enemies and establish His rule under which they would rule. Their interpretation of The Torah was misunderstood because of their hope for a better life for them and so they did not consider God's perfect overall plan which included all of us and according to His timing.
So, what is God's plan in our time ? We also, can misinterpret God's word if we are not led by His Spirit to rightly understand what He is saying to us. Do you have ears to hear what The Spirit is saying to The Churches and The Bride who calls out - To Come and be separated, Holy and acceptable to God? We are to be READY at all times because our Lord can come for us at anytime He chooses!
