Could it be that more than one Rapture wave will occur on the Day the Lord comes for us? My prayer is that this is how it will happen!
Consider the following comments found on Youtube:
Daniel Eriksson: If you are preparing yourself for the rapture, but all your family seems not prepared at all, should you not try to stay behind in order to help your family?
Malinda Perkins: May I offer my thoughts on your question? First, this is a very personal decision, and one that no one else should try to make for you. I would like to share a personal experience, and how that helped me answer the question you are asking. in recent years I have had to end or significantly alter a number of relationships because I realized that these relationships were out of balance, and dragging me down. I spoke with the Lord about why it was necessary for me to go through this not just once or twice, but several times over. Although he didn't answer me right away, when I was ready to hear it, I immediately understood.
He showed me that my learning to let go of relationships were experiences to prepare me for the rapture. Although painful, I grew from those experiences. I guess you could say I learned to love myself as much as I loved others. The Lord showed me that my staying behind would not encourage my family members to change, and it would only result in more suffering for me. Since that Revelation, I have been clear with my loved ones that I'm going. And I hope they come along too!
The Lord has also shown me that there are many "fence-sitters" who will "believe it when they see it" who will suddenly be awaken to the day and hour in which they live, and promptly repent and praise His name! There will be great joy in heaven over these "late comers" as they are brought into the Kingdom! (Perhaps I need to explain that the Lord has also shown me that the rapture occurs in several "waves." It is these delays between waves that give opportunity for last moment repentance.)
Coral Knight: Malinda Perkins, When you say that the Lord revealed to you that the rapture comes in waves, please, if possible, could you explain that further? Thank you.
Malinda Perkins: First I will say that it is always possible that I misinterpreted what I was seeing. Having said that, what I believed I was seeing was people being pulled from the planet, then a pause. Although the vision happened very quickly, in my mind it seemed that a few hours may have passed. Then another wave came over the Earth, and more were taken up. This kept happening throughout the day.
It seemed that the pause allowed for those that understood what was happening to witness to those that did not, and that people were coming to Jesus throughout the day. (This reminds me of the parable of the workers that were called to help with the harvest right up to the 11th hour so that the maximum possible harvest was achieved.) I felt I receive a confirmation in what I saw when I heard another person tell of her dream where she and some others witnessed 2 people being taken up. Everyone ran to the place these 2 people had been standing. The others began to cry out, "Why didn't the Lord take us, too?!" The woman having the dream said she heard the Lord say, "It is already done." She then said to everyone, "Let's go to church." There they prayed and sang, and soon, they also were taken up.
