According to Acts 2:17, dreams and visions should not be taken lightly, especially when there are multiple visions of the same thing:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams

As the half-way point of the blood moons approaches as well as the shemitah year starting in just over a week, it feels like "something big" could happen soon. Putin burst into tears recently during the playing of his country's national anthem. Putin also stated that he could take Ukraine "in two weeks". http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/03/world/europe/ukraine-crisis.html?_r=0 This all paints a picture of a man who wants Ukraine and who wants the former glory of the Soviet Union re-established.

If Putin makes an aggressive move against the Ukraine, it could be the spark that ignites WWIII. But could Putin, backed into a corner, make a pre-emptive strike against the U.S. by teaming up with China? There are many many more visions and dreams of this event--just search Google and you'll see the examples. I am not vouching for these specific people as legitimate experiences--I don't know for sure if they are. There is a common thread though in the number of people having this similar experience. 

I believe God reveals future events subtly through various media as well. Red Dawn came out in 1984 and it was about the Russians invading the US. It was also just re-released in 2012 and interestingly, this time it was the same story except it was North Korea invading. 

I personally believe in the Blood Moons as a marker as well as the Shemitah year. I always thought 9/11/2001 had to be some sort of time marker of when things would happen and the multiple accounts of two seven year periods in scripture make sense. This next year starting at Rosh Hashanah September 24th-26th could be the time. We will know soon.
