Dear John & Fellow Watchers:

 

The Feast of Trumpets is a 2 day celebration due to the imprecision in ancient times as to the exact moment of the new moon. Today, of course it is easy enough to calculate. However it remains a 2 day celebration.

 

Perhaps the reason is that it has 2 fullfillments; one on RH day 1 in 2014 ( September 25, 2014) when Jesus comes for His Bride and the 2nd on RH day 2 in 2021 (September 8, 2021) when Jesus returns. Adding to the mix that Shmini Atzeret is on October 16th this year the probability goes up. It is exactly 2520 inclusive days from October 16, 2014 to September 8, 2021, Day 2 of RH.
