Reprise:  Why should our lives and our houses be clean in the sight of the LORD?

 

It is written,

          For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

Deuteronomy 23:14  KJV

 

We can rely on this promise, because it is also written,

          For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 1:20  NIV
