The Three manifestations of Jesus in the Book of Revelation

1-      The  Bright and Morning Star

In Rev 1:13-16 Jesus is described as

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength……………………….

And we learn an interesting thing, that the stars are angels.. Jesus had 7 stars in His right hand…. We learn that stars are angels.

We see in Revelation 19:17 that there is an angel in the sun.

I ask….does every star have an angel or is every star actually an angel?

Is 40:26  - God brings forth the stars one by one and calls them by name.

Psalm 147:4 -  He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Job 38:7 -  morning stars sang together and the sons of God shouted for joy…

It appears that stars are more than an inanimate object, but something that God has a relationship with.

In Revelation 21:23 we are told that the Lamb is the source of light  for the New Jerusalem and again at Revelation 22:5 we are told that in the new heaven and new earth that there is no sun , but that God is our source of light.

Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star (Rev 22:16)

2-   The Lamb of God

In Revelation  5:6  Jesus appears as the Lamb of God (as if slain).

This is not a furry four footed creature.

John the Baptist cried “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world” (John 1:29) as Jesus approached him to be baptized.

The Lamb of God is a title, it is a position in the Kingdom of Heaven. The Lamb of God has the power, authority and right to forgive sins.

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” Rev. 5:12

3- Commander of the LORD’s Host; King of Kings and the Lord of Lord’s.

Revelation 19:16 Jesus appears as the COMMANDER OF THE LORD’S HOST.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems ; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. 13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. 15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron ; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS

Jesus as the Bright and Morning Star provides for our light, both physically and spiritually.

Jesus as the Lamb of God provides for our forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

Jesus as the Commander of the Lord’s Host provides for the Wrath of God, which will destroy Satan and his followers, destroy all sin and cleanse the Earth of sin and the effects of sin.
