This is a solemn day of remembrance...and a reminder of what happens when we do not take threats seriously.  Thirteen years ago, a group of committed terrorists used American airplanes as their weapons to kill nearly 3,000 people.  But as we look back, it seems our leaders are not willing to deal with the threats we face today.

President Obama is calling for the arming and training of forces in Syria to fight against ISIS...yet we've already been down that road.  We tried training and arming the Iraqi army, but they crumpled in front of the Islamic State fighters.  In fact, according to recent reports from the Middle East, ISIS forces have control right now of one billion dollars worth of US military hardware and weapons that they have seized!  

ISIS fighters are on the border of Israel.  ISIS supporters are rallying in Jerusalem.  And ISIS sleeper agents are trying to cross America's border with Mexico to be in place for future attacks--and may already have done so.  This is deadly serious business, and we must respond
