I think you nailed it.  I grew up pre trib.  " don't worry it'll all pan out in the end".  I believed it and loved it.  but as I look around I say to myself  "we should have been long gone by now".  The numbers just don't add up. all the wars, Ebola, all the nations lining up.
If you continue reading in Revelations to chapter 7:3 , it says TILL !  A few years ago I was reading that chapter,  and when I got to the last tribe, it was like the Holy Spirit yelled at me  RAPTURE !!!!  I even wrote the word right there between those two verses.
between verses 8 & 9 I have written RAPTURE !  The 12 tribes have been sealed, and now there's no reason to hold back the wrath !  
I am going to post something the Lord gave me on Psalm 114.  It is as clear as a bell to me.

So, .... in a nutshell,  it is RAPTURE and then WRATH...almost in the same breath.

DOVES, I  hope you understand what I am saying here. 

Ephesians 1:13 says  WE ARE SEALED !!!!!!

So , all the sealed are GONE !!!!

But wait..... another group has been sealed.... The 144,000 !

THAT IS WHAT THE  TILLLLLL IS ABOUT !!!!!
