"To: Jovial and KJV Onlyism"

King James Onlyism Questions:

1.  Is God Sovereign ?
2.  Did God appoint an English speaking king to put God's word into the English language ?
3.  Is God able to communicate His Word of Truth without error ?
4.  Would God need to provide more than one copy of His Word of Truth ?
5.  Was there 400 years of silence from Malachi to Jesus' first coming ?
6.  Is it possible that there could be 400 years of silence from 1611 until Jesus' second coming ?
7.  Was not the first sin questioning the Word of God and then adding to it ?
8.  Jesus read Isaiah 61:1-2 from a copy of the Torah, not an original manuscript.

My Most High God is sovereign and He gets His way.  He is able to communicate His truth.  His truth is available to all, not just Greek and Hebrew scholars.

Fortunately salvation is simple and can still be found in all 261, or so, translations.  However, I would expect that scholarship and absolute truth is found in One.  When God speaks, His speech never stops because it is eternal.  God cannot lie.  Therefore, there is only one copy.  I hope all find it.

There is value in studying Hebrew and Greek, don't get me wrong.  I love the depth of the Hebrew language.  It adds amazing richness and depth to God's Word, His present revelation.

In Christ,
Greg
