"praying my sister does not lose her leg"

Hi all:

My sister was born mentally & physically handicapped… is high functioning MR (mentally retarded was the “old school term” but sometimes still used) ~ and cerebral palsy….crippled right arm, had to wear leg braces as a young girl.  She’s in her mid 60s and has spent the last 20 some years in a nursing home where she has had chronic problems with her right leg – cellulitis and 2 weeks ago she was hospitalized for being static (INFECTION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE BODY)   After a few days she was transported back to her nursing home to be near people she knows, familiar surroundings….. much happier there than eating mushy Dr.-ordered food in the hospital!!

However, now there’s a fracture in this same leg…. To see it, you’d wonder why it’s not already needed amputation – it’s a RED inflamed mess…. Her legs stay horribly swollen…  I should add that she can no longer walk, is horribly overweight & may the Lord bless those who work in nursing homes & take care of patients, even placing her on the “potty chair” or lifting her from her chair to her bed.  She has congestive heart failure & does not get good circulation….

As you are, I’m so hoping the rapture happens before I have to endure another death in my family; that is my ultimate hope & choice.  But way things are going…. Then may God’s will be done of course, but in my own human feeble mind, it would seem a better thing to go ahead & leave this world by death rather than how it will affect her mentally, physically, emotionally if she has to have the leg amputated.  Either way is very difficult.  But again like I say, may God’s will be done!

Your prayers are GREATLY appreciated!

And my feet have been infected for months as well – they start to heal, then get bad again.

Again:  thank you!
