Time for some
fun speculation and hypothesis.
I have to wonder a bit as I am always looking at the fantastic mystery that is the prophecies of the Bible was Jesus giving us a cryptic clue when he mentioned the abomination that causes desolation? Is the fact the statue of Nebuchadnezzar reflecting the parts of the greatest human empires all in one statue also a clue? I know many on Fivedoves still are piecing together the puzzle of Obama as I too have considered him a prime candidate to fulfill Jesus' words. However, in the light of Syria I believe it is time to rethink this; something changed he is not the same as when he first came on the scene. I think the buck has passed him.
I was watching Netflix the other night and there is a documentary about the great ancient city of Alexandria. Created by Alexander the Great that used to house the greatest works of known wisdom at the time. What is interesting to me is that Alexander took the known religious figures of his time and would combine them into one statue. So that the people of Alexandria would have all gods they knew as one and could worship them. I can not help but wonder if this is somehow a very cryptic clue to the Nebuchadnezzar statue of the Bible. Also because Jesus almost directly referred to an act of Antioch as the precursor to the Antichrist was he then also revealing the Antichrist would be Greek in some fashion? I know the scripture about the Prince that is to come but this is still a mystery scripture that most scholars feel they understand but only the time of absolute fulfillment will reveal if they were right about Rome.
Again, this is just for fun. I like to keep my mind looking and searching for clues and the mysteries of the Bible.
