I agree, but would like to make the following comments. When I first heard the president talk about striking Syria, I thought the attack was a done deal once the UN inspectors left Syria. Then he threw us a curve ball by saying he was going to wait and get congress' approval. Now the congress appears set to defeat his request and he might stall again if that happens. Many are now calling for a deal that would give Assad 45 days to sign on to the treaty forbidding the use of chemical weapons and thus avoid a strike by the U. S.My point? It seems lately that every time I think we are about to see major events unfold, something steps in and stops them. So, even though Russia and China have ships in the area, they may or may not respond if we hit Syria. Iran may or may not hit Israel. Hezbollah may or may not hit Israel, nor Syria may or may not hit Israel and cause Isaiah 17:01, just yet.Perhaps God's time, though close, for the tribultion is not yet, but the enemy is trying to force His hand or is guessing at the time and trying to bring about the events on a different time schedule and the events continue to stall. It would not surprise me if Obama changed his mind and pursued another option, especially after seeing the huge disapproval of a strike from the people.
