Dear Doves,

Candlesticks mentioned in the Bible can be a few things. Sometimes, they are actual candlesticks, like a Menorah. Sometimes, they will be people like the Two Witnesses, also known as the two olive trees and two candlesticks.

In my research I have come to believe that candlesticks can also refer to…PLANETS.

Revelation chapter 2:5 (my comments in parentheses):

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen (remember your sins), and repent (confess, go and sin no more), and do the first works; or else I (God) will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick (planet Earth) out of his place (Earth’s *orbit*), except thou repent.

If something were to change Earth’s orbit, even just a tiny bit, our climate would either be much colder (away from the sun) or much hotter (closer to the sun).

I don’t want to debate about global warming or ice ages.

I’m just going by what the Bible tells us, especially in Revelation. At the end, during the reign of the AC, things are going to get quite hot and men will be scorched with great heat (Rev. ch. 16). And still they did not repent, but continued blaspheming God.

Look around you. How repentant do you think most people on this planet really are? I think judgment is starting already with all of these worldwide floods (“just as in the days of Noah”). In fact, I think it may have begun back in 2005 with Katrina, and possibly 2004 with that huge Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami (“birth pains”).

I wonder if ‘Comet’ Ison or some celestial body that is incoming could possibly change the orbit of the Earth….

I believe a big part of the Two Witnesses’ ministry will be about this sinful, wicked world and the need for repentance.

Additionally, we have this scripture from James chapter 4:

6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
