Dear Mrs. Agee,
In your last post, you said:
(I tried twice to make the above black, but it stayed blue. I’m reminded of the song, My Blue Heaven, that Ed and I loved to listen to and dance to when we first got together in July, 1946.)
Well, when I was very young, my Dad (RIP) loved that song. It was popular in the 1950s, too. We couldn’t afford a piano in those days, so we sat at the kitchen table and pretended it was a piano. He played that song, on our kitchen table and sang it, and I played and sang it right along with him. I’m an only child and to this day, I remember the words: Just Molly and me, and baby makes three, we’re happy in my…blue…heaven.
I remember one of your posts, in which you saw your beloved husband Ed, and you asked him if he had a piano. He said yes!
It will be great to hear this song again…with our loved ones.
Can hardly wait.
God bless.
YsiChrist,
Patty RP
