"The prince of the
people who destroyed the sanctuary"
The “Prince” is usually thought to be Roman, since it was the
Romans who destroyed the Temple.
However, Jesus said, “The prince of this world comes…” referring
to Satan.
In another scripture, the devil is called the ,”Prince of the
power of the air”.
Therefore, it is likely that the “Prince” to come ( the
Antichrist) is speaking of the spirit that will
occupy a human host, and is not regarding the nationality of the
host at all.
This concept sets aside any requirement on race or genetic
origin for that one.
We know that Jesus is called the Prince of Peace, the
Everlasting Father…. And do these titles and others, focus
On His humanity? No.
Similarly , the false O ne – the evil mimic- will be
inhabited by the evil “Prince”.
So the section of Daniel pertaining to this could be stated like
this- “ The people of the Devil to come, will destroy the
sanctuary”.
Doesn’t have to be a Roman at all, does it?
