Hello, John and Doves,Mary Anna, that true story you recounted reminded me of two scriptures.First, it is written,And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
Exodus 23:13 KJV
And yet, you found your emerald in your mouth. That makes me think of where it is written,The one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones--like jasper and carnelian. And the glow of an emerald circled his throne like a rainbow.
Revelation 4:3 NLT
Conclusion? Clearly, the praise of the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, is ever on your lips.Application to today, as we wait for our Blessed Hope:It is written,8This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”The Spirit who strengthened Joshua (that is the Ruach HaKodesh) rests on you, Mary Anna!It is written,21It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, 22and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.~Blessings,Mike___________________________________________ http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/sep2013/maryas93.htm Mary Anna (3 Sep 2013)
"Lost emerald"
I'm sure everyone has an unbelievable story that's TRUE. GOD had to be in it or it could have never happened in a thousand years. Mine happened a month ago and I'm still jarring from it. I've remained mute since it's about a real emerald and I know God is not interested in riches and the like. Nevertheless, here goes: Wore this emerald ring on a recent trip many miles away. On the plane I happen to notice the emerald was missing from the setting. A couple other passengers helped me look on the floor for it but it was gone. (Not too small!) Convinced it undoubtedly was lost in my purse when I was fingering in it so when I got home dumped the purse completely. It was gone! Then I found it in my mouth a week or more later. I have no cavities, brush regular yet, there it was... no kidding! Hard times are coming and for many have come. Think a real emerald may buy a loaf of bread or a quart of milk? My question is why would God want me to have this emerald back again? I'd released it and thought no more about it. Mary
