Dear friends:
On September 21, I shared some thoughts about historical perspective. Here is more:
1. What if I told you that the six creation days of Genesis were prophetic of a planned six "millennial days" of human history, followed by the seventh, or Sabbath, Millennium. "One day is with the Lord as a thousand years" (2 Peter 3:8). God did not require six or seven days to complete creation. He could have done it in a microsecond or less. The seven days were obviously prophetic, a picture of His planned 6,000-year history of man. The right of "dominion" over the earth that God gave Adam in Genesis 1:28 was no doubt only a 6,000-year lease -- six millennial days -- the time period established for man's rule. After the earth lease has expired, Christ, the last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45), will return and assume dominion of the earth as ruling King during the seventh Millennium, having legally purchased back the lease and dominion with His own blood.
2. What if I told you that according to the Torah calendar we are now in year 5999. This will end on Match 31, 2014, when year 6000 will begin. April 2014 will be the first month of the seventh millennium. See http://www.torahcalendar.com/.
3. What if I told you that the 120 years of grace in Genesis 3, assumed to be 120 Jubilee years (50 X 120 = 6,000 years) ends on March 31, or April 1, 2014.
4. What if I told you that there are solid reasons to believe that April 2014 will see the "sudden destruction" of 1 Thessalonians 5:3 and the "catching away" of 1 Thessalonians 4:17, probably at the same time. See Pastor J.D. Faraq of Calvary Chapel Kaneohe in Hawaii, an Arab American. He is an excellent Bible prophecy teacher. His conclusion is electrifying. Don't miss it. What if all these things are true?
What if?
