Navi RH date

Pondering God’s ways is what we do!  So a studious look at RH is a good idea.

The Hillel date for Rosh Hashanah this year is at least a day early regarding the sighted moon standard.  This was clear when referencing the moon phases for the days involved.  Certainly my attention is more focused on the eighth.  This may or may not be RH.

Here is the thing.  God speaks to us often in our frame of reference.  The recent history of Israel indicates that God uses the Hillel calendar to mark days for Israel.  Also, the Hillel is “validated” as a reference by the lunar tetrads in 2014 and 2015 occurring on Passover and Tabernacles of the Hillel calendar.  This will be true whether or not those months fit the sighted moon standard.

I also believe our western year counts are used by God to speak to us, in certain respects.  We know that the current year-count system reflects generally the birth of Christ, which is our frame of reference.

So, I doubt we should define Sept 8, for example, as RH, but it is a great day to watch.
