"The Church is the bride to be raptured, Eph 5, don't be led astray"

unfortunately there is a lot more deceptive teaching creeping in
But we have to be diligent with the word and properly contend for the faith

Many times here we have had to defend the fact that there is a rapture, it is often brought up that the word rapture isn't in the bible clearly. Well that is true, the bible does not use that word directly. But there plenty of scriptures tell us that he will spare us the day that will try the whole world

The same goes with the scripture of God's bride and who it is
It really is quite simple

Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The great mystery is a man and his wife being one flesh (verse 31).
verse 31 is speaking of a man and his wife, but paul tells us it's concerning Christ and the Church, Christ is the man and the Church is His wife.

Rom_7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

As the husband and wife are one flesh, also is Jesus (Bridegroom) and His Church (Bride) one body.

Joh_3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

The exact phrase "the Bride of Christ" is not said there, but the Lambs wife would be His bride.
And His wife are saints (verse 8).

Rev_21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

The angel then goes on to show John the New Jerusalem which is the home of the Bride of Christ, it is adorned beautifully as a bride. It is described in this verse as the bride, but I dont think Jesus marries a city, I believe it's more correctly described in Rev 22:2

Rev_21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Rev_22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

The Spirit is in the Body of Christ, the Spirit and the bride say, Come.
