For a long time I have thought that all prophecy is specific to the middle East. Focusing on the nation of Israel - her surrounding neighbours (and enemies). Even the churches - named (specifically) in the book of Revelations, are middle Eastern. That is not to say that the gentiles are not important or relevant. Quite the contrary. I'm fully on board re the importance of our LORD's church and her people. Fully on board re the Rapture (soon to happen). However - everything .... everything, in the Bible, points to Israel. They have the miserable task of being "the Chosen". Chosen to be an example - chosen to feature as the main player of the end times. Chosen to show what results in being unfaithful to God. How ghastly! What a burden! I thank God that I live in the UK and in this time. Thank God that Jerusalem is not my burden. What thoughts must the Israeli people have? What nightmares do they suffer? Do they ever sleep well? Their newspapers do not feature facile headlines such as The Kardashions or Mylie Cyrus or Justin Timberlake or......... (name the drivel). The Israeli headlines are always of fear, second guessing, where to purchase gas masks, what's happening in Syria...Iran....Turkey....Russia...is the USA going to support us?..... it must be truly terrible.
 
A fourth of the earth's population is prophesied to be wiped out. I believe this takes place in the ME. A false prophet is due to arise.....also from the ME. The pale horse (chlorus) brings death and destruction - and hell follows closely. Who LOVES death more than life? Muslim Jihadists. The entire Bible is staged in the ME. It stands to reason that prophecy is centred there. The AC may well be the catholic pope - Obama or whoever. BUT - it all centres on the Middle East. Once we realise that - prophecy becomes clearer.
 
Let us all pray - fervently - for the land Of Israel and her people. For the peace of Jerusalem. For the Christians of the middle East. For the victims of the middle east ( Christian and non Christian alike) for the little children. For the victims of the savagery that is ongoing. Let us also pray HARD for our brothers and sisters in America.
 
May our LORD God love, guide and protect and keep us all, in this hour.
