Hi Jim,
    You're absolutely right - I knew perfectly well that 8 = new beginnings and 7 = perfection or completion. But  that makes my point even sweeter.
    We can't even imagine what that new beginning is going to be like. Remember, we have been forewarned of this in I Corin 2:9.
    Just think of it, in very high probability we are about to participate in, potentially, the greatest event of our life - and it  could-well-be just days away!
    What an indescribable blessing to be a believer in Jesus Christ in any day or age, but especially today! Praise His Holy Name!

I believe 8 means new beginnings, and 7 is the number of completion.
