I have a sincere question for Tammy or anyone else who can answer it. You said that Ken Peters (in the "I Saw the Tribulation" video on Youtube) was "On target about IPODS, IPADS, Smart TVs etc..." I remember him mentioning the large screen TVs being in public places but I don't remember him describing ipods or ipads or iphones or anything that could be interpreted to be what most people today have, which is mostly the smart phones that you see everyone staring into texting or whatever they are doing.

 

If he does describe this, please indicate where in the youtube time it is and I'd like to see it because I must have missed it. What has troubled me about Ken Peters is that he said his dream happened many years prior to his telling it publicly and so some things he saw were not invented yet when he dreamed about them but at the time he was telling it some of them were current things. It sounded at least feasible when I first watched his video from the Prophecy Club on VHS way back when it first came out and I ordered it. (I used to get a lot of videos from them.)

 

He said http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2owHVfZlDg (go to the 12:00 minute mark on youtube) he "saw these white boxes in nearly every single home in the U.S." that look like TVs but were not TVs and he didn't know what they were but he later learned were computers. "I know now that what I was seeing was personal computers in people's homes..." He understands that his credibility is at stake when he says that he began to research or investigate these strange things like this box to see if he were in fact hearing from God because he was not about to go public with this if it was not factual etc. Okay, so far so good, back then when he was reporting this dream. But fast forward to our day... Where are those white boxes now? Still in nearly every home in the U.S.? Yet if he were seeing the tribulation he should have seen a yet future time from now. Are PC coming back again? For me, his credibility is low.

 

He should have described people staring into these little hand held devices and interacting with them and you said that he did but I don't remember that on the video I saw. Even the "kind gentleman" who led him to Christ used a pocket Bible or "little book" not an iphone. Many years ago I too carried a pocket Bible with me everywhere I went but now I have an iphone with the Bible in it.

 

I'm just trying to be factual about this and not read into it what is in fact not there. We lose credibility if we go along with something (saying he saw and described ipods etc.) if in fact he never did. I'm willing to be wrong here and if you can point out where he mentions or describes these devices I will take another look. But the PC one still bothers me and sounds like an easy one to fabricate but if so, he never anticipated the possibility that these devices could become gone before the tribulation actually got here. How do we get around that?

 

Anyone else have any thoughts about this? True prophets of God can stand up to reality but false ones will be exposed and should be.

 

Right after the PC part, he then says that people were all concerned with the disappearance of people "One of the things that was happening during the hysteria was many, many peoples (sic) were asking 'Where'd these people go? What happened?'" And, "All these people saw this event... " Yet at the beginning he said he never saw anyone living disappear. Only that he saw graves burst open and people coming out of them. So, everyone else saw "this event" and asked where'd these people go? Were the people asking where the raised dead people went? But he said these people that were asking where the people went were very sad as though they were missing someone who was alive and disappeared..

 

It has become commonly known among anyone who is familiar with the Prophecy Club that Stan Johnson who runs that ministry is post trib and has in more recent times ceased to allow any opposing views on his platform. A long time ago he tolerated other views a little but after he preached against pre trib himself, he quit allowing any pre trib views on his program.
