The last day of the Feast of Tabernacles represents a 21-day delay from the Feast of Trumpets. Daniel mentions a time when he was praying and fasting and finally, after 21 days of delay, an angel comes to him with a message from God. The angel tells him that he was sent out with the message as soon as Daniel started praying, but that because of spiritual warfare, he was delayed in getting the message to Daniel by 21 days.
Revelation 10:6-7: "And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”
The mystery of God is the Rapture of the Church: 1 Corinthians 15:51-52: Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
So, John tells us in Revelation 10:6 that there is a delay, because he says there will be NO MORE DELAY. The 1335 day count mentioned in Daniel 12:12, from when Obama was sworn in as president, ended on September 17, 2012, on the Feast of Trumpets. Many were expecting the Rapture on this date. But the Rapture is delayed by 21 days in order to fulfill all of the prophecies.
On the afternoon of the seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles, the people began to remove from the tents. By the 22nd of Tishri, they lived no longer in tents. (They have shed their “temporary housing” for something permanent). The Last Trumpet of the Fall Feasts is blown on the 7th day of Tabernacles, October 7, 2012.
