"YES Virginia, GRAPES CAN GROW ON TREES!!!"

Donna Danna,

And I'm not speaking of vines that crawl up tree branches, then grow grapes on them. I am talking about actual TREES that grow grapes.

You may want to read this clip by Dr. P. S. Ruckman. He is the third preacher that I have heard that believes in grapes being the fruit that Adam & Eve ate and grape juice as a type of blood. He sums it all up much better than I possibly could:  http://www.kjv1611.org.uk/Forbidden%20fruit.htm. Adam said that EVE was bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. There was no mention of blood before the fall. Dr. Ruckman even mentions the women with RED lips (lipstick)!

Also, ALL GRAPES don't grow on vines. Some (like in this Brazilian Grape TREE Jabuticaba) grow on a TREE! As you can see below. Too often we try to put God in a box! He can do anything including growing GRAPES on trees! It is VERY possible that the fruit of the TREE of the knowledge of good & evil was GRAPES!  ALSO, as far as us getting blood TODAY from grapes? We don't even get our OXYGEN the same way we did when the Garden of Eden was planted. EVERYTHING changed when the earth was brought under the curse. We don't breathe the PURE oxygen concentration now that was available to Adam & Eve.  There is NO TREE of the knowledge of good and evil in existence today as far as we know. THAT is the tree that they would have gotten blood from, none other. That blood brought DEATH to them! Go ahead and try to find it, you'll be searching a LONG time! Just because the grapes on THAT tree caused the production of blood in their system does not mean EVERY SINGLE variety of grape that existed would have given them blood! I am sure there were OTHER grapes in the garden that they ate and did not obtain blood from. It was their disobedience to God that brought the curse of sin and death and THAT TREE had a curse connected to it!

Fair use for discussion, education, and debate purposes:

Vines are often referred to as VINE TREES. Jesus had NO BLOOD in him after he rose from the dead and neither will we in heaven.
