Jim, this is SO TRUE!

 

I have a nephew (17 yrs old) that I was not sure if he was saved or not. He did not grow up around me and I rarely saw him. One time when I called his dad, he answered the phone, which he never did prior. I took the opportunity to lead him to the Lord that day. 3 weeks later he died. I know that God himself brought about the circumstances of that prayer that day and I believe he is with God today! Just because you have a teen or young person in your family, even if they are remote and live far away, don't forget about them. None of us are promised tomorrow! A ten year old may never live to see 70, but could very well have reached the age of accountability! Because of all the high tech exposure that children are subjected to these days, I believe that they are losing their innocence and reaching the age of accountability MUCH, MUCH younger than they did when I was growing up! There are 8 year olds out there who know more (about things that they have no business knowing) than I did when I was 19!  Satan is after our children!
