It's a spiritual battle: 44 vs 44

It's a battle between the kingdom of this world - the natural, the flesh vs the Kingdom of God in heaven.

I too have been seeing these numbers - for years!  On Easter Sunday 4/4/2010 the 4 of us went to Denny's after church and no joke the bill was exactly $44.44!!!  Yes and that date was 4/4!!

You have the 44 of the god of the flesh: see John 8:44 "for you are of your father the devil"

And you have the 44 of the God in Heaven: 1 John 4:4 "greater is He that is in you than is in the world"

We each have this battle of 44 vs 44 within ourselves and this battle is on a global scale as well.  The climax in WWII was fought in 1944 with the allies invading Europe on June 6 1944.  Our 16th (4 x 4) President Abraham Lincoln had to battle his own 44 vs 44 as well as bring together a divided country.  He once was an atheist and end his presidency one of our most Godly Presidents.

We currently have a President who is our 44th President. I'm afraid we aren't likely to see the same 44 chosen that Lincoln chose. Doesn't look good so far.  And the man who came in with the comet and who came out with the comet (Haley's Comet 1835 -1910) doesn't give us much encouragement regarding the matter.  Mark Twain's last book he wrote - The Mysterious Stranger, was about this mysterious young stranger who came to this town.  He was Satan.  He didn't give the towns people his named -

He just said ' you can call me Number 44 '
