Yes!
I agree
with you, Rene!
But
especially I appreciate your sad but
true statement:
"Many have been born
to the slaughter, but many (especially
TODAY) are slaughtered (in the womb) before
they are even born!"
Those
little ones--aborted , often without any
"natural affection", on their mothers' part. No
regrets, too often...
It's our version of passing the
babies through the fire to appease the
god Molech.
(Only Molech has other names today--selfishness,
inconvenient timing, love of money, refusal to
carry the child or even to consider making
an adoption plan...)

Molech
or Moloch: a god of the Ammonites (emphasis mine)
"Thou shalt not give of thy seed to
cause to pass through the fire for Moloch."
Leviticus 18:10
Molech: "A
detestable Semitic deity honored by the
sacrifice of children, in which they were
caused to pass through or into the fire.
Palestinian excavations have uncovered
evidences of infant
skeletons in burial places around
heathen shrines.
Ammonites revered Molech as a protecting father.
Worship
of Molech was stringently prohibited by Hebrew
law. (Lev. 18:21; 20:1-5) Solomon built an
altar to Molech at Tophet in the Valley of
Hinnon. Manasseh in his idolatrous orgy also
honored this deity. Josiah desecrated the
Hinnom Valley altar, but Jehoiakim revived the
cult." Unger's
Bible Dictionary by Merrill F. Unger
(Chicago: Moody Press, 1957); page 416.
"Moloch
.......was represented by a brazen statue,
which was hollow and capable of being heated,
and formed with a bull's head, and arms
stretched out to receive the children to be
sacrificed. From the time of Ahaz, children
were slain at Jerusalem in the valley of
Ben-Hinnom, and then sacrificed by being laid
in the heated arms and burned.
"...although, in the times of the later
kings, children were actually given up to Moloch
and burned as slain-offerings, even among the
Israelites; it by no means follows from this, that
'a passing through to Moloch,' or 'passing through
the fire'... signified slaughtering and burning
with fire....

You know, how is
abortion any different? The deed
is almost hidden from the woman, as
the ultrasound
screen is turned away so that she can't see
the little child, moving on that screen.
Let her think this is just a clump of
tissue!
But, Rene, the
best part---the fact which comforts
our hearts---is that these little ones are
immediately in
our
Lord's Presence, in His
Arms. They are waiting --maybe still
infants, or maybe grown-up---for the one
who carried them in the womb to come to
the Lord, so that there'll be a
tearful, joyous reunion with her,
and
probably one day very soon!
(And if she chooses not
to follow Jesus, there are so many
Moms in heaven who may have
been barren on earth
---but no longer! These little
ones will be so loved!)
I
have a young son or daughter waiting
for me (miscarriage, at 7 wks)--and I'll know
at
once who that young
person is! (Others, too, on 5
Doves will have just such a joyous meeting!)
Pray against this great
evil? The pro-aborts are doing
their best to close down pregnancy
centers.
Our crime? We tell the truth,
and we also offer free
ultrasounds--with screen turned toward
the mother!
(Thank You, Lord, for the opportunity to reach
so many abortion-minded or undecided
clients!)
'Praying to see you all soon--Rosh
HaShana? :)
