Hi Doves,According to the Word, the 1st evening spent in the booths, during the Feast of Tabernacles, is on the 16th of Tishri and NOT on the evening of the 15th of Tishri.This is simply because the booths are built during the day, on the 15th of Tishri!"...on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of the Lord for seven days...And you shall take for yourselves on the first day [15th of Tishri] the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook...You shall keep it as a feast to the Lord for seven days..."
