"I have cried out"

My Dear Friends in Christ:

I have knelt in the cold, blackness of a Winter's night, with my body uncontrollably shaking, and with tears streaming down my cheeks, feeling a profound despair that cut to my marrow and cried out  WHERE ARE YOU?!

Later, exhausted from crying, and devoid of all emotion, I struggled to my feet, looked up to Heaven and knew I had been tested.

Sometimes God is silent so we can find him.  And although Jesus clearly states that he did not come here to bring peace, but to give life, even in the depths of despair, we can know we are loved.

In the days ahead we may all need to remember that God has not forsaken us.

Yours In Christ,
Margaret
