"Mike W Rightly Dividing the Word"

Hello Mike,

I just wanted to say that your explanation on "rightly dividing the word " is Spot On again!  I believe this is the very reason we as believer's are always in such argumentative chaos with each other, simply because we believe to the point of dogmatism, what we have been taught, rather than thoroughly searching the scripture and allowing, trusting and depending on the Holy Spirit to do His job and His work in us.  The key phrase you used hits the nail on the head..."making it fit".  I do understand at times there are things we can not explain or quite understand, but as Paul says,

"For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.  For we are not writing any other things to you than what you read or understand.  Now I trust you will understand, even to the end..."

"Therefore let us as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you."

I am glad that you came to the knowledge of the truth of how to rightly divide scripture...and to stand.  It sure makes a difference in ones level of spiritual peace and proper dogmatism once Christ has settled the matter once and for all.  One then, is not tossed to and fro like the waves of the sea when the next teaching or  mans commentary comes along.

Side Note:
Another great example of dividing scripture properly, makes the seven books of James-Jude come to life as JR Church walks through the tribulation period and explains what will be taking place for the people of Israel~ His beloved.  James begins by saying who he is speaking to "To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad",  Check it out on You Tube.

Anyway Mike, thank you so very much for taking the time out to break it all down to help our fellow brothers and sisters understand scripture much clearer...job well done! I read just about everything you write...for it is rich!!

Blessed it be His Name
