"HERE COMES THE GROOM!
THERE GOES THE BRIDE!"
We have some terrific storms here in SW Missouri. A few weeks
ago part of a large tree fell across my husband's grave
dislodging one of the marble vases on his memorial stone.
After the debris was cleared I left the vase setting in place
but it wasn’t fastened down. A couple days ago we had another
terrific wind and rain storm and Saturday afternoon I checked
there for any damage and found the flowers were blown out of
the vases and the one that had been dislodged in the last
storm was now laying on the ground but still undamaged. I
picked up the flowers and the marble vase and went back to the
car. I was listening to a Christian radio station in the car
and a new song came on. I was listening carefully to the words
as I headed back to the highway. When the singer sang “Here
comes the groom! There goes the bride!” in reference to
the rapture I started crying and praising the Lord for his
assurance of our blessed homecoming to heaven very soon.
See you soon in heaven!
