"the end of his
ministry on earth?"
My brother (in the flesh & in the LORD) wrote to me talking
about the work of the Spirit of the LORD during the tribulation
with the 144,000
(similar to the things said in the article that Julie posted on
the 10th, from Jack Kinsella).
I replied to him the following (please let me know if this
sounds correct, or if I'm in error):
.
I agree with you on that.
The presence of the LORD, the Spirit of the LORD, is not absent
on earth during the tribulation, but here working like you
pointed out.
However, that unique ministry of the Holy Ghost, that unique
indwelling presence in the church, that ministry ends suddenly
like it began.
It began with a sound & the Holy Ghost coming down from
heaven to give birth to the church at Pentecost.
It will end with a sound & the Holy Ghost taking the church
up to meet the Lord in the air at the blessed hope, then from
there to heaven.
That special manifestation & ministry of the Holy Ghost on
earth in a body (the church), will end similar to that of the
manifestation & ministry of the Son on earth in a body (the
incarnation), by ascending back up to heaven.
.
Thank you,
Gino
