New York University economist Nouriel Roubini is often noted as being an apocalyptic professor for his grim prognosis.
Roubini said that Europe's only solution was to extend the euro's monetary union in the direction of a banking, fiscal or even political union.

An attack on Iran is certain to set the already volatile Middle East and rest of the Muslim world on fire. IAEA’s Mohamed El-Baradei exaggerates not when he warns of the region turning into “a ball of fire” if Iran is attacked.

September 10, 2012 U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay's assessment of the world, sets the tone for the work of the U.N.'s 47-nation Human Rights Council whose month-long session opened Monday 09.10.12.
Pillay told the Geneva-based council Monday that she is "worried by the recent forced closure of Roma camps in France, violent xenophobic attacks against migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Greece, abuses in dozens of other nations, with Syria clearly topping the list."

While David Lidington, the conservative Minister of State for Europe and NATO at the Foreign Office, tried to walk a fine line in supporting Ashton’s human rights strategy while emphasizing that the House of Commons could veto any EU initiative.
"The new human rights position on foreign and security policy cannot be agreed upon without the approval of the British Prime Minister or another representative in the room."
But UK Prime Minister David Cameron is unfortunately in a place of bible prophecy, which guarantees the EU human rights envoy creep gets way out of control.

Here are the real concerns of Bill Cash on the appointment of a Human Rights Envoy-
Biggest concern about Ashton’s human rights strategy "is that it will morph into a broader, wider kind of European creep. Once you have set up this kind of entity, it will feed into every area.
In the real world, it is not easily possible to exercise a veto right when you have created this kind of dynamic. It gets out of control and feeds into a vast array of activities in relation to trade, in relation to public procurements. It’s almost limitless.
What I fear is that this creates a completely new network of activity that, by legislative osmosis, will grow exponentially. No one country will be able to control it.
CASH: I am completely against an international human rights envoy. Because I believe that human rights should be dealt with on an ad hoc basis, through the parliaments. There are also massive questions being raised about the manner in which our judiciary is interpreting human rights - in relation to extradition, deportation, Abu Qatada, and so on. But the EU now is opening a window to the application of the universality of human rights without reference to democracy in individual countries.
I just don’t want the European Union to be engaging in European creep on this monumental scale."
